Azalea Plants - for Shade & Color
In the landscape design, Azaleas are planted typically in cool shaded locations. They like moist well-drained acidic soils (can be supplemented), with a lot of organic material. Azaleas work well for those half to full-shaded areas where few other plants
will grow. The Camellias and Rhododendrons also will do well in the shade, and complement the Azaleas nicely for added colors and textures.
