Austrian Pine - A popular and hardy pine that grows up to 80 feet tall, the Austrian has fragrant dark green needles, and a dense pyramidal shape. This pine makes a good tree for screens and windbreaks, and a very popular Christmas tree. And yes, they are fairly fast growing!

Eastern White Pine - Popular and hardy, the White gets up to 75 feet tall, and can be a medium-fast grower. They have bluish-green color, make nice specimens, popular as Christmas trees, or plant them as screens and windbreaks.

Loblolly Pine - A true-Southerner, the Loblolly is widely planted across the southern third of the country for timber. For an evergreen, the southern pines grow fairly fast. Not much for roots on this species as a young tree, but that will change quickly.

Ponderosa Pine - This Western pine gets up to 75 feet tall, and can be planted where the soils are poor. The Ponderosa makes a nice landscape specimen, or plant them as screens and windbreaks. Not much for roots on this species, but older hefty tree, that tolerates dry conditions well.

Colorado Blue Spruce - Hardy, good for ornamental specimens, lines, or even in winbreaks. These are the Majestic Blue hybrid, a bluer type than the native species, but the color can vary from deep green to very blue-gray. The bluish color to the needles develops as the tree grows older. Very beautiful and popular, they are slow growing, but worth the wait!
