
About the Dogwoods
Pink Princess Dogwood - Grows up to 20 feet, and you can plant these from Zones 4 to 9. The Princess likes
full sun to half shade, and the flowers will vary from light
pink to red, with red leaf color in the fall. These are best planted as a small specimen tree where the flowers can be seen, as from windows, walkways, or from other visual locales. These are grafted!

Kousa Dogwood - Gets up to 20 feet tall, and can be planted from Zones 5 to 9, in full sun to half shade. The
flowers are white, but the fall color is red, so these should be plnted where they can be seen!
The "Kousa" is probably the most widely planted tree-form in the landscape design because they are hardy and attractive.



Florida Dogwood - Gets up to 20 feet tall, widely spread across Zones 4 to 9, and these grow best in half
shade or greater. These have white flowers, red fall color, and makes red berries in the fall.
Second to the "Kousa", these are probably the most widely planted dogwood in the landscape design. This one has a number of popular hybrids with red or pink flowers, but the true Florida has white ones.


Pagoda Dogwood - Gets up to 60 feet tall, this tree-form dogwood can be planted from Zones 5 to 9. The Pagoda
likes full sun to half shade, and a moderate amount of water. The white flowers will cover the tree, and the young stems have a bluish color to them. These attractive trees will fill that empty space in your yard!

Cornelian Cherry Dogwood - Very popular small tree-large shrub that can grows up to 20 feet tall. Hardy from
Zones 4 to 9, they
grow well in full sun to half shade, with moist conditions. This lovely dogwood has fall yellow color, and edible 3/4-inch red berries. This can be make a fine addition to any landscape design. Our first crop of Cornelians we have had for several years.


Red Osier Dogwood - Very hardy shrub-form that can grows up to 10 feet tall. Hardy from Zones 2 to 9, they
grow well in full sun to half shade, with moisture conditions varying from wet to dry. The red-colored stems are very attractive, especially in the winter bleakness, and these are plantable nearly nationwide as hedges or specimens. These look similar to
the Redtwig Dogwood, but the stems are more woody looky, and not as glossy.

Redtwig Dogwood - Very hardy shrub-form that can grows up to 10 feet tall. Hardy from Zones 2 to 9, they grow
well in full sun to half shade, with moisture conditions varying from wet to dry. The red-colored stems are very attractive, especially in the winter bleakness, and these are plantable nearly nationwide as hedges or specimens. These are closely related
to the Yellowtwig Dogwood.
Yellowtwig Dogwood - Hardy shrub-form closely related to the Redtwig, these grow up to 10 feet tall, are can
be planted from Zones 2 to 9. Similar to the Redtwig, they like full sun to half shade with plenty to little watering.
The Yellowtwig is a close botanical relative to the Redtwig Dogwood. The difference of course is the stems turn a
bright yellow during the winter months. Mix these with the red for a candy-cane like visual effect in a hedge row.

Silky Dogwood - Very hardy tree-form that can grows up to 70 feet tall. Hardy from Zones 6 to 9, they
grow well in full sun to half shade, with moist conditions. This lovely native has fall yellow color, and can be make a fine addition to any landscape design. this is the first crop of Pacific Dogwoods we have had for several years.
