Fast Growing trees like hybrid Poplars and Willows from Empire National Nursery fast growing trees for home and garden landscaping Tall-size vs. Regular-size? Some people rather start with larger trees, and we do appreciate that. Over the last several years, we have been growing more of the trees into larger sizes, especially some of the faster growing trees like the Ameri-Willow. The difference between the "regular" and "taller" size is age. Both are trimmed back, but the Talls are older, hefty, with a basal caliper of 1/2 inch or more. This will vary between species, but the two sizes are very different. Either size should work out fine for a variety of planting projects. Typically... many of the taller trees sell out early, but keep this page bookmarked so you have the links handy.
