Money is fasinating... Our own currency, foreign money, the various sizes, colors, the designs, and they are all pieces of history. Although not much for real-life value, they are a novelty that can be mounted, or given as gifts. Some of these are in great shape and others are worn and have masking tape on the back (previously mounted). The price reflects the condition.

Most of the following is from the 1920's, when Germany had run-away inflation. They got to the point where they stopped printing the money on both sides of the paper to save time. People would literally bring basket and boxes of paper notes just to buy the simple basics like a loaf of bread... unbeliveable time! Because of the chaos and panic, the people embrassed the promises of a saavy leader, Adolph Hitler, and we all know what happened from that point.
